I have a 05 sxt auto and was wondering if the srt motor will mount up to the tranny in my sxt??

You will need a T-850 5-Speed transmission to make it work. I don’t believe the automatic in the 2005 SXT will work with the engine. You can go aftermarket autos that will work however. DCR makes one.

Not yet It is really hot here. Been 100 to 104 everyday. I will get it on the dyno in Sep or Oct and also take it down the 1/4 mile. I will for sure put up numbers and time slips in these months.

Here is a short video on a third gear pull with the car. This is only at 15psi with the Air-to-Fuel Ratio at 11.6. I didnt have enough space to pull to 7500rpm so I only did it to 6500rpm. But it gives you an idea of what it is going to be able to do at 25psi once I get the added fuel system in.

Replaced the video above with a different one. I pulled to 6500rpm instead of 6000rpm like the last one. I still need to find a place to pull to 7500rpm it will give you a better idea of the powerband. Anyways.

These are my intial dyno tuning results. Both are at only 23psi with the cams set at 0,0. After adjusting cams I will got back for high boost pressure at around 29psi which is what this turbo needs.


First dyno results is with 93 octane.
