Stage 2 without exhaust?
Ok guys, I am at a point where I can order the stage 2, but I still have not gotten the mopar exhaust. (If you guys cant tell, I really dont want to buy the exhaust!) I was wondering if anyone bought their stage 2 before they got the 2.5" or 3" exhaust? Am I stupid for thinking about going this route(installing the stage 2 and then the exhaust?)
I am just really struggling with paying $350 for the exhaust and not really being able to feel the difference!
Thanks
Andrew

Andrew - you will feel it.
As long as you don't go past 350 whp - the 2.5" should be adequate. For the same cost you could also do a 3" side exit if you are worried about restriction.
But remember - even dodge says in the literature for s3r that the borla is needed to achieve their results of 350 whp. It ought to be fine.
You can run the s2 setup without it, but your gains will suffer a little bit.
Also - if I could - let me recomend that you get the toys option, now that we have found octane booster to run HOM effectively; subverting the need for race fuel, it isn't just for track days, anymore.

Ok, this is where I am coming from...
The way I look at it is that I can get the stage 2 and definitely feel the effects, then get the exhaust and feel the advantages of the stage 2 even more!
I would think with the stage 2 on the exhaust would definitely be noticeable?!
Right?
On top of that, it is also a possibility that I might purchase the exhaust by the time I get the Stage 2 since it is taking 1-2 months, right?
Thanks
Andrew

All soundsgood to me - if you want to "feel" each upgrade you do, then it sounds like a sensible way to go.
On the 1-2 months, if you don't want to wait, see if any dealers can locate one for you. Sometimes people will order one then bail, and you can buy it without any delay, and just have your dealer reflash the vin to yours when you get it. That is what I did and I had s2 in the car within a week after I paid for it.
Some dealers will look harder than others, so if you need help, I could talk to the ones I know, or maybe one of the people on here who work for a dealer can chime in.

After the Stage 2.... If I can afford to.... I am looking at doing an exhaust and lorenzo T/b install at the same time, I figured that would be a really good combo to put in! Just thought I would tell ya that too!

dude that will be an awesome combo by the way listen to post about the toys there worth every penny since we found that nos racing formula octane booster.
