i just signed up for the event at the MIS (Michigan Int'l Speedway)... I am super excited!!! I get to learn from Skip Barber Instructors and beat on SRT cars that I don't own and may never own (Viper, SRT-10, etc.)...

i wanted to do it, but there isn't going to be a track day around here. apparently dcx doesn't like the north east and we have been excluded from the schedule

 

someone did it at the vegas location...doesnt it cost like a thousand bucks?

Yeah we're definitely unloved up here. ESPECIALLY in Rhode Island. I'm WAY more than willing to travel for such an event, and maybe one day (i mean...year LOL) soon I'll actually get to go out and do it. Theres also a school where you can sign up with your own car, and they teach you how to handle it at its absolute limits. If I'm not mistaken its in the same price range as Skip Barber is.

I checked Skip B's website... to go through Skip B's program it cost a bit more, and you don't get the same things... I have considered doing something like this for years now... $300 for a day or beating on SRT products seems like a good idea I'll have to take some pic's and maybe some video of the day.

Just wanted to let you know I'll also be there. Saturday right? What color is your car? Mine is blue, I'll look ya up when I get there.

 

Mine's E. blue with dark tint on all the windows... license plate reads "SLONEON"... that's either SLO Neon or SLONE on... depending on who reads it or I'll be bringing the Tan Civic... cause that's a race car ha-ha... and yes, I'll be there on Saturday!!! can't wait!!!
