I have an 04 srt-4 with 55,000 and I hear a knocking noise going over bumps and sometimes when I turn my mechanic couldn't find wrong when he checked it out. But it's annoying. Brakes are good and so are the bushing

 

Have you done anything to the suspension? Check the torque on the lower knuckle in the front that holds the lower control arm to the spindle. I can't remember the exact tqr spec I think its 45-50 ft lbs

 

no i haven't done anything to the suspension. but the driver lower ball joint was bad and got it replaced and the control arm. but i still hear a knock on turns i herd it can be the steering rack also but i don't see any leaks

 

If it is while turning, then probably a CV shaft

 

does it happen when going over bumps? i know the rear struts make noise, they do it from the factory, if thats it, its normal
