Default Question about AVS Downdraft Spoiler

For anyone who got the AVS Downdraft Spoiler...I was wondering how it connects to the car...does it bolt on or do you use 3M tape because I heard a rumor that you use 3M tape?? And if you need 3M tape for it, are the holes from the stock SRT-4 spoiler exposed on the deck lid??

3m tape, ya that sounds reliable at 140 mph you should try to hot glue or superglue it on next, or duct tape sticks pretty good!!!! Would you even trust a spoiler that you tape on, sounds like a waste of money to me. why does everyone wanna trade out spoilers, it was made for a reason as you can read about in a thread a couple weeks ago. but hey, to each there own!

IMO the stock spoiler is ugly, it looks like a tacky ripoff of the '96 eclipse...the AVS looks nice and simple

Yes its held on with 3M tape. No....its most definitely NOT coming off. That spoiler is stuck there infinitely. But yes, the stock decklid holes do still show, just plug em up and call it a day

i recommend you fill up the holes with black caulk used around in the bathroom and stuff. keeps all the water and dust out without look too obvious.

This is the spoiler we are running on our SRT-4.

It bolts on.

Another picture of the wing.

LOL. it is a factory spolier from a Z24 Cavalier. Fits the curve of the trunk perfectly.
