thank you all for your replies. Currently the car is still sitting here, getting laid off put a kink into fixing it. The cost for a rebuild is `400 so will see then.

 

you can probably get a good used one for $150

 

@nicholas - I am from washington actually but pretty close
@turbo - I will take a look at the forums there. Today I just received word I am employed again..so the projects begin! 4 months unemployed sucked. Anyone happen to know a good shop in Washington or eastern Oregon that can rebuild the turbo for less than 500 if I cannot find a decent used one?
