Need an understanding of fault codes to help pass smog
Wow. Really having a tough time here passing smog in good ole Cali. Everything passes with flying colors except I keep on getting the fault code of P0440 EVAP Ctrl System Malfunction and PO441 EVAP Ctrl Incorrect Purge Flow.
The interesting thing about this is that I passed smog two years ago with no problem! Anyway, I tried disconnecting the battery and hooking it back up as that cleared away the 'check engine' light that pops up at various times. So any advice out there on there if I can fix it by my lonesome, or do I really need to take it into a shop? Thanks.
