does any pne know where to buy the dodge viper hood emblem [maybe after market]other than the dealer.?dealer wants $90 for it.

There was someone at the Chrysler Classics that had the Viper emblems in black, red and green for $35 each. I would have picked one up in black if it were the newer SRT-10 Viper emblem instead of the older Viper emblem.

Make sure you measure your stock emblem, and then buy the Viper emblem accordingly. Theres three different sizes of the Viper Emblem, if you dont measure it first you may end up with one either way too small, or one thats too big and wont fit in the hole, it'll sit on top.

Another thing is that theres a tube that goes off the stock emblem and almost "snaps" into the bumper. The Viper Emblems don't have that, so you may want to tape off the hole before you stick the Viper emblem in.

Yes, but the Ram is the only Dodge that should have the Rams head emblem, what's a person to do. The SRT-4 is closer to the Viper than it is the Ram. I wish they would have simply stuck with either the old Dodge emblem or the Pentastar, I myself prefer the Pentastar, but it won't fit the indentation where the Rams head is and the Viper emblem will. I've always disliked the Rams head on the cars, it's fine for the trucks, but it just isn't right on the cars. I plan to get a Pentastar to put on the lower part of the passenger side fender behind the wheel just like my Roadrunner has. I'll either use the Viper emblem or one of the nice SRT-4 custom made badges that replace the Rams head.
