Im about to buy a k&n typhoon cai and i was wondering where you guys bought yours. I know some may have used modern performance but i've heard mixed reviews on them. What can you guys tell me about them?

 

I got my typhoon from turboneonstore.com, i really dont like modern performance. ive used them 3 different times and with bad results each time.

 

how do you like the typhoon gump? how is the sound, performance increase? Also, did you get anymore mpg?

 

Cant help you on this one, I bought mine through a local shop and got a discount through my body shop. Ive heard great things about Modern Performance, and also about TNS.com. But negatives on both ends...it just depends. Each person has their own opinions and experience. Id say if one has a cheaper price than another go with them, and if its a negative experience, revert to the other the second time.

 

I got my K & N Typhoon CAI for $199 from Modern Performance, as well as most of my SRT-4's mods, and I've never had any problems.

 

I prefer ebay lol. You can get almost anything cheaper there. right now theres one from a very reliable seller for 102.95 shipped.

 

^^^^^As long as the seller is very experienced and has good reviews...I agree.

I usually talk to the seller before I buy to ensure that it is shipped carefully/properly, as well.

I have had good experiences at both tns and modern, myself. Guess I was lucky.

yeah, definetely make sure its a good seller. But the one I mentioned, the seller has over 26,000 sales with 98.9% pos. feedback, so I would be confident.
