So bought a used srt this weekend and I have found the wipers and headlights were on the frits. I fixed the wipers not sure if the headlights work properly yet. But on my mission to figure them out I found a rats. nest of wires and switchs for an HID set up. But thats not really why I'm here. I found something even stranger a "hidden switch" of sorts and i have no idea if it's factory or not, or what it does. i'll attach some pictures maybe someone can help. also isn't there suppose to be a blue and red switch around this area?



it's under the radio in this bottom slot.

 

Not factory. They generally don't use switches that are sold in a package from China, nor put them in a spot that is difficult to get to. Easiest way to see what it's for...follow the wires. There is a whole new panel where the rear defroster switch/cig. lighter are if it has the "turbo toys" installed. It's for stage 2 and 3 SRT cars.

 

I'm assuming it's a kill switch for an amp cuase the wire goes no where. How can I tell if it's been staged? I can see the down pipe and exhaust is atleast 3-3.5 inches and it has an intake. But file injectors look stock and I'm running around 14 psi. The only other mod I see is the mopar bov

 

I believe the ECU (it's right by the driver's headlight) would say "Stage __" on it.

 

there should be a label on the pcm and it would be printed on there if it is you may need to take it of the mounting bracket cant remember which side of pcm its on
