You are right, wheatburner. SSR comps are my first choice and I am happy to spend the $ for a wheel of that caliber. At 12.5 lbs. that velox is the lightest wheel I have seen for the srt-4, and I would pay for it. It looks fantastic imo, so that is a big plus.

I just can't see the flat black on a silver srt-4. If Motegi made anything other than flat black for our sizing, I would go with them. I would do either of the dark centered polished lip wheels they said would be out this year; lites or lite 2's. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case, and no one knows if and when they will make them.

I would wait until September for the SSR's to be back on the market, but I NEED tires now, and I don't want to waste $ on a set for the stock rims, then have to re-buy for the aftermarket's. If I feel confident in the dealer, I will order the $$$$$$velox. I don't think I'll have regrets.

Polished lip has not been released yet, and no one at motegi knows when it will, so reliable sources say. Motegi is famous for putting out a product and not releasing it for a year after they say. All that is available is a set of flat black.

As far as I know there isn't one available anywhere. Do you have more information on this?

Are the crate motor street legal? I never seen or heard of anyone ever mention that they had one on the road.
