what do stock srt-4 rims weigh?
Just a tick over 22 lbs.

Not too bad, but they could definitely be lighter. If I can get the Velox wheels(or ssr's), between the wheels and toyo tires I should drop over 11 lbs per wheel.

Anyone heard of/had experience with wheeloutlets.com?
No one has tried wheeloutlets.com?

Well its looking like I am going to go with the motegi traklites in gunmetal. Now that I have found them - I can't wait!!!!!!

What tires do you guys think I should go with? I was thinking proxes t1-s(superlight) or falken 615(sound mean as hell, but eh for wet and weight) or pilot ps2(for 150 a piece) or kumho excta mx(good deal) or dunlop fm901(cheap and light at 80$).

Also, would a 235 45-17 fit with stock suspension? Or should I just go with the 225 45-17?

It is done.[8D]

I am soooooo excited to get my stuff. Motegi traklites in gunmetal, and toyo proxes t1s tires should be here by the end of next week. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!

I should lose 9 lbs per corner. That is 36 lbs of rotational mass. BIG difference. I am sure handling and braking will be noticably improved. I also am ready to launch the thing with some more control and less wheelspin on the 225's.

I'll report my findings once they are on.

PM'ed

BTW, he has them in Gloss finish gunmetal, as well. I think they'll look awesome on the silver.

post,

what size rim/wheel and tire did you go with? 225/45R17's? on a 17x7" rim?
