New Car!
so we finally purchased an srt-4 saturday.
it is a used blue 04 with 15,000 miles on it. to this point i am very pleased with this car. the car is really fast and fun to drive. i am lucky and very excited about having a sportscar and a muscle car to drive. it is raining off and on here today so when i get a chance i will post pics of both cars.

Beats the S#it out of your rx8 huh, so i would assume ur little neon is your muscle car and then you have ur rx8 as a sport COUPE, its not a sports car i dont care what anyone says, its a waste of money, no ppower for the price just a decent shell. Well enjoy the srt i know i do, does it have any things done to it yet? Get an occ on there and turn the key three times in the ignition to see if the stage 1 code comes up, that way it saves you some money. Well thats ennough for me. ENJOY
yes the srt-4 is by far the faster car...but that does not make it the better car. that is a matter of opinion. i disagree with your sports coupe observation but i am not here to defend or talk about the rx-8 in anyway (aside from my user name). ENOUGH SAID.
explain what an occ is and i will perform that procedure.

An OCC is an oil catch can.
What happens with these vehicles is the oil from the head gets into the PCV line runs down through the emissions line through the turbo down the cold side pipe and rests itself in your intercooler. Build up in your FMIC is never good. Thereforce the OCC catchs this excess oil and prevents it from running rampant throughout your engine and intercooler. Theres some on the market as well as a homemade one you can do yourself for $20-30. Check the stickies for that one.
Congrats on the SRT-4. Myself, I LOVE the RX-8s. Just because Mazda "verbally overrated" their power ratings means nothing. They still handle incredibly well for the type of car they are. I love the interior and exterior alike. I almost bought one....and probably should have instead of my Miata. Other than the SRT-4, the RX-8 is the only other car Id want to own at the current time. But it would have to be white or black
Take pictures of both of them when you can. And if you have any questions, check the stickies up top first, and if they dont answer anything we'll be glad to help you out.
