Take it to get fixed...and it gets worse?!?!
If it weren't for bad luck I'd have NO luck. However since bad luck is all I have I can only assume that things like this will continue to happen to me. I took the car to a new dealership on Friday, that will cease to be named. Here are the parts that were being repaired under warranty:
-TPS repair harness (same as what MoparSuperCenter has on their site, upgraded gauge on the wire and they want you to splice further back into the harness since its a longer wire)
-PCV valve, to see if the burning oil situation would cease
-Oil Change (simple enough, I provided the oil Elf Excellium 5w40 FS)
-Drain my intercooler, just to see what we could come up with for excess oil.
I take the car in at 7:30, its taken immeadiately into the shop. By 10:00 I need to leave to get to work for a meeting, the tech says come back it'll be done for 1:30. So I call my friend Anthony and his SRT and he takes me to work.
I get out of the meeting early and call again for a ride to get back up to the dealer, its now 12:30, car is still on the lift. So we drive around for an hour and come back...STILL hasnt moved. However cars are going in an out of the shop like no tomorrow. So I'm getting pretty pissed. Its 1:30 and I have a doctors appointment at 3:40 at least 20 minutes away for my heart. An appointment I can't miss.
I go inside at 2, and talk to the service advisor guy. I said I need my car by 3:20 at the LATEST. He says no problem.
3:34 I FINALLY get my ****ing car.....EIGHT HOURS FOR THAT?!!! WTF? So I'm like alright can't bitch at least its fixed.
Roll down through a couple of redlights the car is bucking and revving by itself worse than EVER before. So I'm livid. Still rolling along slow cause theres quite a bit of traffic on the road the dealers on. Get on the onramp to the highway, in third gear...punch it...BANG!!!
THE COLD SIDE PIPE FELL OFF THE CAR! Oh yes.....on an on-ramp. So now not only is the car worse than before I need to pull a 180 on an ON-RAMP go down a ONE WAY to get back to the road the dealers on so they can fix it. There was oil everywhere, the hose was dragging along the ground by the red sensor wire plugged into it. Luckily no one was coming or I would've been smooshed, dead or worse.
I couldn't get the car into 2nd gear at all....so 12mph all the way back to the dealer 1.5 miles down the road it was. However much damage I caused, Im not sure.
Needless to say I was livid. My problem still isnt fixed, and I could have gotten seriously hurt if someone had been behind me.
I told them to order an IAC setup and a TPS sensor. If it fails to work, I'm having them order a TB. I tell them what to order they really don't know what it could be. Its symptomatic of the TPS, but if the wiring didnt work, the sensors bad. It idles like a 1980s Ford truck, and theres oil everywhere. And on top of that my left front strut bearing looks like someones dog chewed on the "gasket".
By the way, new plugs, wires, PCM, TPS wiring, and PCV valve, and its STILL doing it. With a TPS sensor and IAC on order, any other ideas?
PS heres some pix of the cold side pipe every day of its sad life. And yes its tightened as much as it can be.

one more thing... how does oil get into the inter cooler? wouldent you turbo start to fail because the seals that keep that oil inside are leaking out?

it comes from the pcv- all of ours do it, she's just been having a problem with excessive amounts.
when the boost comes on some of the oil blows past the rings and the pcv vents it out where it is recirculated back into the intake to be burned (as per the e.p.a. regs). the hose connects just upstream of the throttle body- the bad thing about that is that the oil drains from there straight down into the i/c.
My turbo doesn't really sound all that good. I called the dealer today and everything is in except the IAC assembly. Friday I'm taking it in again for the aforementioned three problems, but this past weekend driving it has been hell.
It stumbled normally around 2000 rpms, but now its almost unbearable. Almost everytime im at a stop my idle is cutting in and out and the car occasionally feels like its going to die on me. A few quick revs and he's okay though. It used to just be third gear at 2k rpms that gave me the most problem, now its 2k rpms 2nd through 5th gear, and first gear....oh good lord FORGET trying to go any faster than 12mph it just wont do it, the throttle dies out on me and he wont go.
Im going to put my 3" exhaust back on so the car starts smoking again, then maybe they'll see that Im not crazy. Its rare that it does it with my cat in, so once I take it out, it should be an interesting scenario. Ill be picking it up hopefully this week, then Ill see what I can do.
I will keep everyone updated.
Does anyone else besides me see a car with a sticking throttle, and all these other problems unsafe to drive???

I know about the PCV problem, but another sure way you can get oil in the IC, is from the turbo bearings. I work on deisel trucks/w turbos and we see this scenario all the time. Have you looked in the turbo discharge tube for oil? Or into the turbo itself? It sounds a lot like a turbo problem amongst other things. (being the excessive amount of oil that it is) The only way I see acceleration being so drastically different gear to gear, is possibly related to excessive engine movement. Because of the gear muliplication, the engine will twist more in first than other gears. This could be pulling on the TPS wires or other stuff. They might look ok when the car is sitting still, but be pulled tight when the engine torques under acceleration. Also I wonder if your shift linkage is rubbing/pulling on wires. Have you looked at your wires and thier routings? Maybe something got wrapped around something it shouldn't be.
BTW, I feel it is unexcusable what the dealer is putting you through and I hope they are kissing your butt. If you feel they are giving you the run-around, there are agencies you can call that will get all up in thier sh-tuff.
AND..... I hope your heart is ok.

Damn, Id be supper PeeeOd too. Is this warranty work or are you footing your own bill? I hope all works out in the long run, they should give you a loaner car to drive after that experience. Good luck and let us know whats going on.

Its all warranty work, so Im set on that. Thats not an issue at all.
I think the bearings are shot also, but I havent had the time to get in there to look at them. The turbine itself appears fine, but just tonight when I shut the car off all I could smell from the general vicinity of the turbo and nowhere else, was burnt oil. If that is the case, there isnt much time left before the entire turbo blows and the engine is to follow. It has a severe loss in power from what it had day one, and day one of the stage 1 installation.
The PCV valve has been replaced, and the motor mount bolts all seem okay. Not that aftermarket ones wouldnt hurt any, but thats okay.
And no I havent checked the shift linkage, Ill have to suggest that. I want my best friend to drive it and see what he thinks. He is the guru of all
, especially SRT-4s. However everytime hes seen it the damned thing refuses to act up. [>:]
