well, i know the Stage 3 Kit from Mopar isn't availible yet, but is it the best stage 3 kit availible??? or is hp Racings kit produce more power?? also, is it required to have the stage 2 kit before bolting on the stage 3???
As far as the best, we can't really say til it get here
It most likely won't make the highest peak numbers, but it should have benefits that don't show on the dyno. One biggie is the testing that Mopar and PVO do. And the fact that they have access to a coproate giants resources for design and the testing. Like wind tunnels, unlimited dyno (both chassis and engine) time. The abilty to truck test cars to diferent parts of the country and run them. I'm making a separate post, but for instance, they just ran a Stage 2 car at Firebird, I think it was. The details will be in another post.
From what we understand (subject to change without notice, of course), there will be two S3 kits. One for folks that bought S2. It will be cheaper becuase it will not contain the items that are common between the 2 and 3. And one for folks that did not get 2, it will cost more, obviously.

For anyone who comes in here looking for an update, it appears that Siemens, the maker of the fuel injectors, is not shipping them to Mopar over a price dispute. Shocker, they now want more than they initially told Mopar they would cost. Needless to say, Mopar is not wanting to pay more. They cannot just go with another supplier, these injectors are custom made, state of the art, and even the Stage 2 computer code would have to be rewritten and the whole new setup retested.
Will our intrepid (nice plug, eh
) heros (Mopar) save the day and send more power to the people?
Will the evil Empire (Siemens)recieve the tribute (cash) they want?
Will MY car go even faster?
Stayed tuned for the next exciting episode of "As the Stage Kits ship!!!!"

Reliable sources over at the SRTfroums. Folks who know folks
As Andy learned, there are good sources over there, just gotta know which ones are which
Don't get me wrong, this thing, like any business disagreement, could be fixed sometime Monday, or last weeks. But I know Roach for one was expecting his kit pretty quick, and I try to pass what I find. I especially wanted to let folks know this delay is NOT Mopar's fault.
