Stage 2 With Turbo Toys Release Date!!!
has anybody taken their srt-4 to the track (1/8 or 1/4 mile) if so i would like to know their numbers, my best time on the 1/8 is 9.4 but im not a good driver. the only mod on it is the greddy type s b.o.v.
i could afford the stage 2 now that i have my return from unca sam, but i'm also factoring wrench time at the local performance shop. if i opt to wait til the stage 3 turbo kit with toys, stage one sways bars, and the ceramic coated intake rolls in, it will be a one time install fee vs. 2 trips to the credit card....don't get me wrong i want a stage 2 (check out the drool puddle by my keyboard), but i figure save my duckets and wait for the tentative october release date and hopefully another wonderful deal from our very own amanda
. besides i can pick up goodies like autometer gauges, full pillar gauge pods, and sniff out some 100 octane unleaded for my baby in the meantime.

Kinda, a dial in the toys panel. Has four settings.
0 = Between 7-9psi or thereabouts good for economy or limited traction situations
1 = Between 12-14 psi Better power, less economy
Nows where it gets fun
And the term Dial-A-Boost (down)( becomes a deceptive term)
2 = Drag race launch mode for street tires 7-9 first gear, 10-12 second gear, max (16-20) 3rd through 5th.
3 = Drag race launch mode for Drag radial or slicks 10-12 first gear, 13-15 second gear, max (16-20) 3rd through 5th
Or course boost levels vary depending on the torque target the engine is shooting for, but you get the idea.
Basically two tri-stage boost controllers, and two single stage boost controllers, all selectable while you drive.
NOBODY offers a BC that can match that many levels
And of course the fuel and spark maps that go with

glhs837 where did you get that info. I was just looking somewhere that was selling the Stage 2 and if I read correctly the "Dial-a-Boost" had something to do with the race fuel not the boost control. I like your description much better but I was just wondering where you got the info from if you remember? Thanks a lot.

Yeah the Mopar Performance website has their parts mixed up- they need to fix that. Under dial-a-boost they describe the high octane fuel switch (which also comes with the turbo toys) and fail to describe the actual dial-a-boost, which is just as glhs decribed above.
alright, thanks for clearing that up Barneydriver. That makes me very happy. I was trying to figure out which BC to get, but if Stage 3 comes with that then I don't need one. Are there any legitimate price estimates out there yet for the Stage 3? and is it supposedly due out in October? Thanks a lot.

I'd like a stage 3, but with the power i want to run it can't produce. As i'm looking for hemi #'s. Around 475 whp and 550 wft-lbs on 100+ octane in my srt-4. I'm still getting everthing priced out.[sm=smiley15.gif]
