I just picked up an 05 srt-4 (orange blast) which has 342 miles on it now...Was just wondering if anyone has any problems with the 05's yet? Mine seems to have a rough idle and a stutter under exceleration, any thoughts? Is this something i should be heading to the dealer for? Or is this normal? I've never had a car with a turbo before. I topped it off with 92 octane this morning to see if things would change, assuming the dealer filled it up at Arco with 87 octane.... Just looking around this site, it has made me order a K&n filter, BOV conversion kit, 4000k headlight bulbs by streetglow(blue haze), MSD 8.5 wires, iridium plugs, all should arrive by the end of the week. Windows will be tinted on thursday 18%. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

 

that's pretty normal. the plugs and wires will take care of it when you install them.

as for the 05 issues, there actually have been a few. ecu's needing to be reflashed, 3rd gear tranny problems, a batch went out with bent valves, and i don't remember what else right now.

 

O YA this car is fast!!!!! why won't anyone challenge me at a light?

 

They know what it's capable of....taking down Mustangs, Wrx's, ect. Congrats on the purchase!!
