I just picked up my occ today and I need to know if I remove the white filter and the part its surrounding or just the filter? also I got 1/4" fuel line hose. is that to small?

I think you wanted 3/8" hose. 1/4" might be pretty tough to squeeze on the nipples. (mmm - squeeze on the nippleslol)

You take out the white stone as well as the plastic holding it in; for some reason, it works better.

i forgot what size hose i needed so i guessed! oh well i'll go get some 3/8, i forgot the clamps anyways! I dont know where my head. thanks!

You sould also get the reinforced fuel type hose. It won't collapse. I, and others have gotten this clear stuff with the white fabric fibers in it. It will take a lot of burst pressure but, under a hood when its hot, and the intake is sucking, it will collapse. I got it cause I thought it would be nice to see the oil in the line. It doesn't matter, you'll see it in the seperator bottle anyway and the black fuel hose will look a lot more OEM.

 

ya thats what i got. i installed it today and drove about 30K, there was quite a little bit of oil in the bottle. I cant believe that much was getting through!!!! i should have installed it sooner
