Default Wheels are here!!!

Yay!!! At least now when I get the car back from having the front end replaced I'll have something to play with.

Damn these wheels are light - You were right PSI chick. I just picked one up and I can't believe it. Doesn't feel like any other 17" I have lifted. No back problems with these.

BTW - for those who didn't know - they are motegi traklites in gunmetal (and they look better than I could've ever imagined) 17x7 42 mm offset. The tires are toyo proxes t1s. 14 lbs on the wheels and 20.9 on the tires, as I have been told. That is 34.9lbs vs the 44+lbs of the stock setup, per wheel. Ought to feel pretty good on the car.

All I need is that damn car.

P.S. - The picture doesn't do it justice.

The wheels were just over 1000 including McGard 2 piece splined nuts and locks, shipped (generally about 100$). Hell of a deal. I was very surprised. The tires were 135 a piece at edgeracing.

One thing I didn't get was a set of hub-centric rings.

Anyone know where is a good place to get the right ones?

Thanks, Amanda.

What, those old scratched up things?

My Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25's will find a nice home finally where they can permanently rest. No more going to the tire shop for the ol' switchy switchy for me.
