Have you guys (and gals) seen a decrease in the amount of oil your OCC catches over time?. Mine seemed to fill up every 2 weeks when i first got the car but now, with 5K miles on the car, i check it every couple of weeks and only seem to be accumulating about 1/16 of a full can. I even checked my oil to make sure it wasn't low and it was fine. Does oil blow by lessen as the engine gets more broken in or do you think my occ is letting more by than it should?

 

I HAVE THE WEAPON R OCC, AND IN ABOUT 3,000 MILES I HAD ABOUT A THIMBLE FULL IN THERE. IT WOULD TAKE ME YEARS TO FILL THAT CAN THE WHOLE WAY UP. I GUESS I DON'T DRIVE TOO HARD.

 

I think your driving style is what is reducing the amount of oil. I heard that downshifting and getting that 30nm vaccume helps pull the oil out of the valve cover faster.
