Aftermarket Rear View Mirror Temp Gauge problem
Hey guys,
I have an aftermarket rear view mirror in my SRT 4. The company is Donnelly.
Ever since the really harsh winter last year, the temperature sensor has been really off. For the most part it doesn't even display a temperature. The only time it ever does is when the car is driving through rain or it gets wet from a puddle that really gets in the engine area. The numbers it displays is not accurate by any means, but that's the only time it sends a reading to the display.
Now, I traced the wire partially and found the temp. sensor ends up somewhere in the engine compartment. I don't know where, but I wanted to know if anyone here knows what could be causing the problem and how to fix it.
