im going to the dealer tommorow to order my srt-4 im getting black with sunroof and the kicker livin loud package. i curently own a 2000 chevy 2500 4x4 and is sucks the gas. i had a 97 trans am before that. i hope i am happy with it.

 

save the 750 for the kicker system.....not that great at all. you can get a much better system at your local stereo shop, but the sunroof is a must have.

 

why will it no bump or something ive never had a sound sytem in a car i just always herd kicker was good

 

I had a 2000 dakota with a stock infinity system which put the kicker system to shame. I still replaced the infinity system with after market speakers amps and subs and pioneer deck. all for around 800 total. everything was pioneer....the kicker system has no bump and the speakers suck....the 6 disc changer is alright.

 

he's right just go to best buy you can put a system in below 600 depending on what you want, not worth the money, or you can skip the sound and go for the zoom, 800 can get you a stage 1 and an intake and some new wires, think about it

 

It is a great car. Just a word of caution; Don't expect a huge gas mileage improvement with the SRT-4 - most are around 14 mpg.

 

yea i may just hold out on the kicker dont know yet the dealer is looking for me on right now i herd if u baby them they will get like 28 mpg on the high way

 

Best I ever did was around 26-28 mpg, but that was over a 300 mile trip, going 60-70 mph constant, drafting a race trailer.

It can be done, but don't think it is easy, or that the manufacturer's claim on mileage is correct, if you ever go over 2200rpm.

 

well i will be doing alot of hiway crusing i hope they dont fine one with the side aribags, ill have to pass i do not like the seats that come with it,my first up grade if u will call it that will be tinting the windows then a bov

really though, i don't think i've ever gotten that bad mileage. i get over 20mpg now, and i don't drive slow or nicely...
