My wife was driving to work on Friday and she is in the far right lane coming up to a stop light where she is planning to make a right hand turn. She is cruising along at about 40 MPH when this IDIOT driving a F-150 in the lane next to her just gets over without even looking! My wife is a pretty good driver and saw what was about to happen and MASHED the gas trying to get away from this guy. He ended up hitting her on the drivers side rear door leaving a nasty dent and ripping the bumper cover by the rear tire. We have only had our car for 3 months and it is already wrecked. I am totally bummed. To top things off the cop refused to give this guy a ticked using the excuse that he couldnt prove who was at fault. [:@]

Took it to the body shop today and they gave me a quote for $1900 to fix it. Guess its a good thing I have good insurance.

thats stupid they didnt give him a ticket, if you were in your lane and he camw into you, its his fault

 

Well go figure, it was a Ford driver who caused the accident. Most of then don't know how to drive and are brain dead. That stinks though. Post pics if you can.

man that sucks, i am sure the cop was being an A#%, you know what i mean. Must no have goteen some last night or sexiest! Your wife was driving. cops do believe that women cant drive as good as men. I betcha 110% that if you were the driver, the would of gotten a fat ticket, and he would of asked you if you wasnted to press charges! Man that really sucks though, hope ur insurance isnt going to jack up! I would be pissed, and as one of the poster said, fake it ans get more money back! like say, MY BACK OMG it hurts!!! Well hopefully it will be back on the road soon!! and good thing ur wife was paying attn, not to mention almost everyone who drives a gas hog, drives dumb and brainless! "

I know that men and women drive alike, but honestly when women are on the cell phone, OMG you better stay 200 feet behind them! ( Sorry has nothing to do with your topic, but just a thought of my experience, well about 20 to be exact) This also goes for almost anyone too, but majority women, I drive everyday being scared, not of how i dirve but of others. Yeah, we are going to keep the car. Just got it back from the body shop today! We have not had any problems with our SRT-4 so far. It has been a wonderful car and very reliable.

 

Glad to hear you got it back and all is in woking order and no one was hurt. I just got mine back too, and I am very happy. I am sure you are relieved. It is amazing what a good body shop can do, isn't it?
