I will never go to one of those places. Most of you don't know but before I had the srt-4 i had a honda prelude. The previous owner used super-lube for the oil changes. Well when it was time for an oil change, i crawled under the car and attempted the remove the drain plug. It turns out that the guys at super-lube had stripped out the drain plug. Nothing that wasn't fixable but it still made me mad. I will never take one of my vehicles to a place like that.

NEVER go to quicky lubes, unless you are friends with the employees there and they know to take care of your ****.

it is certainly easy forget that people can be so inept, but then something like this happens and you remember why you lost faith in mankind.

I went to valvoline instant oil change in my Miata back in November. Didnt bring my own oil, but paid $75 for a Full synthetic change. I never did get rid of that lifter tick, and to top it off they left a rag in my engine. Im driving home and smell this godawful burning smell. I went back there flipping out like you wouldnt believe, and never went back to such a place since.

I bring my own oil everywhere. Elf FS5w40. I paid 17.82 at my old Dodge dealer for a change. At the new one I pay 7.22 and get a Buy 5 get your 6th free deal card. The way I drive Ill be on my 6th in two months.

jiffy lube managed to strip the drain plug on my wrx, then said it would be 245$ for a new drain plug because the drain plug was the type that had the oil temp wire going thru the plug...

holy **** those prices are steep, my dad brings it to a place down the road from us for every oil change, like 23 dollars for the oil change, they lube it up underneath, and u get a "free" car wash

and the truck takes a lil over 5 quarts i think
