I just got my last ticket with my silver srt...it seems that every single cop in Cape Coral, FL is just looking for me! so i am just getting tired of it, i just got pulled over today for not making a complete stop at a stop light! WTF!!! but o well i think i might be going for an H2 or H3 something not quite as fast but i can stil get some looks in! Its been good...LATER

 

that has got to be the dumbest reason I have ever heard of to get rid of a car......and chances are if your getting pulled over that much in the first place.....it aint your car getting you pulled over....

I could understand if you owned a Vette or a Viper or some kind of serious attention getting sportscar....but even though its an SRT-4.....its STILL A NEON.......cops arent out to get you..

Also think about it...Cops don't like to pull over status symbol cars like hummer suv's, do they? I see a lot more of those pulled over than neons.

If you didn't come to a complete stop at a light, then you were in the wrong, don't blame anyone but yourself, even if it sux, you were just unlucky and got caught. We've all been there. I have had better luck in my SRT-4 and the cops than any car I have driven - my 2000 gts, my 1996 civic, my Porsche 944, my 93 tercel, my 84 tercel... the list goes on, but you get the point.

I think for me time has caught up, and I just know what to do and what not to do when it comes to the ol' 5-0, now, one good thing about getting older (read-wiser).

H2 or H3 not quite as fast - understatement of the year.


BTW - it is a shame your first post is such a negative one. C'mon, man - give it a little time and let yourself get over it. The car is innocent.

 

i agree the cops dont care what you drive, they care how you drive! and if you cant drive responsible, go out and get the h2 or h3 or whatever else you want, give the car to someone who can drive it properly. Since they are discontinued i know there are peeps that want one go ahead and get into your gas gozzling poor excuse of a hummer, i mean they are built on a suburban chassies, if u get a hummer get a real one, quit watching mtv to figure what you wanna drive, if you wanna upgrade get a charger or a 300c. lol i agree with what they say but not all the way. here in MN we have cops that profile. More likely a civic will get pulled over for a dumb reason such as mine.
I was on the freeway going 55, YES 55 the cop was facing me lasering right. A car passes me going probably 60 or a little over 55, and guess what I GET pulled over. WTF!! I was going spped limit, and the car that apssed me got away! man not cool! (im asain by the way) So then gave me an attitude, give me your license and ins. (note: he didnt say, "HI, may I see your license and registration along with your insurance policy, please") so then i hand it to him. Guess my record was clear as glass and he said here, shoved it in my hands. And with no reason of pulling me over, so then i asked him...POLITEY. Sir, may I ask what i did wrong?...and OMG i was soo pissed about his FREAKING reason! Oh (said it surprisingly), i pulled you over because one of your back license plate light is out.
I was like WTF, when i unarmed my car the lights were lite..so i go home and checked the lights..they were both on! BUT remember on this note, he was FACING ME NOT the rear of my car!
I mean it depends on where you go and where you are at! Cops tend to be more A-holes towards certain cars (eg: souped up , or crappy looking cars). ANYWAY enough of my gibberish, honestly most of it falls under the way you drive!
Its all on you, and not the car, at certain points....I'd say that excuse is lame just like veryone else said! you can always DONATE the car to me![8D]

 

if you're getting pulled over and getting tickets... then selling the car IS a smart idea... whether you are driving like a douche or not... I don't know about an H2 or H3 (I personally hate those, and though I do look at the drivers and give them attention, it's usually because i want to see what douche is driving one... sorry)... anyway... if you can't handle the responsibility that comes with the car - then selling is a good option... it'll help to keep my insurance rate down

 

That's the attitude in Cape Coral, which is the city above Fort Myers (where I'm from), in Lee County. Drivin' fast or foolishly and then saying, "But I didn't do anything!" lmao The whole city is like that.
