The most important thing isnt really a mod but i think it should be learned before any mod. make sure you can drive your car well and know your limits with it. cause i know some kids dont want to see on the news "the guy that mantains the robitic chuck e cheese band was taken out in a car race... the only thing we can hope now is someone will learn how to get these band mates playing again... for the childrens sake." sorry had to make a swing at the cEc thing.

--one of my fav mods was prothane motor mount inserts. $24 you get a better feel for the engine, reduced wheel hop making launching easer, great install for the money.
--bigger plug wires 8.5mm they should run you about $40-60 bucks depending on who you go with. when your dumping that much fuel in you want to make sure that spark is burning it.
--everyone will say make a $20-30 oil catch can... mine catches soooo much oil and they are easy to make. (do a search on how to make if you havent seen it already)
--k&n drop in filter, i beleve they go for about $40-55 and a lot of people that have high horsepower are still using stock box.
--my 2nd mod was a mopar sts with bushings i think i got it for about $100-110 (first was wires)

those should get you started, im asuming when you said cheep mods you ment under a hundred type but if i was wrong i can break you down a pretty good list from 200 down or 300 down. just get back to us on your end goals for the car and someone will be able to map out a pretty good mod selection for ya. me personally i got all supporting mods out of the way first so in the event its big turbo time all i need is that big bow and a few fuel products.

+1 on learning to drive before you throw more speed parts at it... at 18, you can't drive well... heck, I'm 24 and I suck hahaha... anyone who says differently is a liar - haha

short throw for about $120 is nice... Stage 1 would be nice too... what is considered too expensive?? Borla exhaust is a nice addition as well...

I would recommend the K&N Cold Air Intake.... Not only can you feel a slight change in the pull of the car but also the sound that the filter makes when it is sucking in and the woosh noise it makes when you let off the gas.... Its priceless... I think the Cold air intake is like $200. I dont know if this is cheap, but it was my second mod, the prothane motor mounts being my first.

I was told motor mounts, first.
But then i dont know what else... looking to stay under $300 mods.

Also, what is the differene between stock (acr) and the stage 2?

Funny question, look at your window sticker.

You have 16"bbs wheels instead of 17", tokico struts and harder sways, seat inserts, not a ton, but nice upgrades if you want to autocross..

Haha, no i ment if the stage 2 included any of the ACR stuff. But i found the sticky about the STAGE upgrades... They have nothing to do w/ eachother. Thanks
