Default sick of the reliability

the other day i went in to get my cars oil changed and the guys at the oil place spotted a "finger tight" motor mount, they did fix it. a motor mount sould not come loose at 19300 and 100 of highway driving a day.i dont even drive it hard. seems to me that is is a bit rediculous. that is not all the problems i have had, it just seemed that that was the most obserd one besides both axiles and bearings needing to be replaced(keeping in mind 100 miles of highway driving 4 times a week, and not steping on it hardly at all. they sould not go out!!). i realy like my car but dodge NEEDS to take pride in the product they sell by making them better. i have to say i love pulling up to "fast" rice burners and knowing that they wont look at me because i would SMOKE em.

Anyone else have riddiculous problems with there car that probably should not have happened????????.... i dont even have any serious mods either.

I dont even think you want me to get into my repairs.....it got towed to the dealer thursday and has been there since then. Apparently it has a bad cylinder??? Im not sure but it was running the worst its EVER run in a long time. Bucking and stumbling immeadiately after start-up at idle. Misfire from hell..... Its been at the dealership every friday of my short little life since March......and now its there for at least two weeks until they can figure out whats wrong with it and how to fix it.

dude why are you complaining... all cars have problems.. ALL. you should be looking at it that you got lucky. a friend of mine has a 1.8t jetta and one of his motor mounts broke and his whole engine moved about 6 inches over like it was goign to fall out of the bay and caused a lot of damage. the axle thing happens. but i think your looking at it the wrong way.

well it might sound like im complaining, but you have to think of the cars out there like the subaru wrx that overall have pretty impecible reliability. i really like my car, and i hate to bash on dodge. if they make a car to have 230whp they shold make axiles to handle it. i know that more people than me have had problems with their axiles because i have read about the problems on this web site. unfortunataly i have to sell my car because im going to med school and need the money.

BUT before i end this i have to say that i loved the look on the guys face who was driving a carrera 4 today. the look of, what the F!!!! is that car and how did i only beat it by a little.

yea, he did beat me but, its a NEON vs. PORCHE CARRERA 4. i really do love what dodge did with the neon.

1) how many wrx's have you owned? impecible isnt a word id use. there good but every car has problems just cause you havent looked in to them all doesnt me the ones you have looked up are worse...

2) every friend with an srt in my area has above stock hp and trq and not one of them has had any problems. (im talking about 10-12 cars) there are a lot more in my area but all these guys i know personally.

sorry you got to sell but i still think this thread is a vent/whine session.

Dude,

How do you know that the bearings need to be replaced????

Did the oil change guy tell you this??

Beleive me, if the hub bearings were going bad, you'd know it!!

You wouldn't be able to stand the sound on the highway!
