gone to waste
just thought i would post this because its a good thing gone to waste. this dude that i know, he is 18, crashed his 04 srt-4. the thing is that its just a little front end damage. like the intercooler is kinda smashed and the bumper is busted and thats it. it just sitting at some random dudes house on bricks or something because dude sold his rims. damn i want to swap trannys because i have an 03. any ways thats it.
How the hell did it happen in the first place? You say a good thing gone to waste which leads me to believe he was doing something stupid in order to sustain the damage the car has.
Bricks? Thats terrible. Sold his rims? Wow....whats wrong with this child?

exactly he is just a kid. he said some stupid answer when i asked. the dude said that he was coming around a blind corner and tried to dodge a cow, but i know this dude. the dude does drugs and other crap. and about the insurance claim, he siad he was scared that they wouldn't believe him. which is probably true because there are no real blind curves in phoenix. and this dude crashed back at the beginning of April. and it's just been sitting since then. and also the dude moved up north some where.
Is it still sitting there since he moved? Who owns the property that it's on? I'd try to buy it off of him. That's pretty sad that he had to destroy such a nice car, then be dumb and sell the rims.

it may be the old man in me talking but i dont think teenagers should be driving sports cars with there expirience level. just my 2 cents.

I dont think the age truly matters when it comes to any car.......bonehead drivers will still be bonehead drivers at 35....
Now, if you are saying that younger drivers shouldnt have performance minded cars, I'd be with you on that.....they should be learning how to drive before learning how to speed.....
Again though, I still think its more a matter of responsibility and maturity then it is age/experience behind the wheel
just my .02

Well put. And the boneheads at 35....are absolutely HORRIFFIC at 75!
Blind corners in the desert huh??? Interesting concept, Id like to see that. Not all young people are bad, but the majority of them have the I'm invincible kick going on, and thats just not the case. We're a pretty mature crowd here, so its just our reasoning that it should be kept for a mature crowd. And not just the SRT-4 either. Anyone remember the WRX kid? Who....hydroplaned between 3-5mph, tanked something else, and then rode over a lawn past a mail box through backyard and the front of a garage??? Perfect example. Any car with engineered for performance needs to have a maturity/responsibility tag on it.
Oh well...not too much we can do....but keep on boostin
