Carbon Fiber Fog Light Covers
So, I got some Carbon Fiber fog light covers ok. I'm not complaning about them. But, they weren't lighter than the original ones which is fine. The only thing is. I was totally worried about the super mega "hold" from the 3M tape or whatever that comes with them. Well, they came before Nic ran off to Iraq again. So, we totally cleaned the area, I mean cleaned the **** out of it and then went over it and over it with alcohol. I really just don't think that they take into account the EXTREME HEAT of the desert. Where the rounded part of the fog light area is, the covers are holding fine, but where the edge goes straight up and down it seems like they are coming off. Does any one know what I can do about this? Cause, it's still really flippin' hot out here and it isn't going to cool down for another 2 months, and I honestly don't want to fork out the money for another set of covers.[sm=feedback.gif]
