Mopar/Borla Exhaust Update
For those of you with a Mopar/Borla exhaust, you are probably aware of the problem of keeping the exhaust tips straight. I was driving between Austin and San Antonio Texas last week when one of my tips started hitting the body of the car on the freeway bumps. I pulled into a Midas shop off the road just outside of San Antonio and explained the problem to the manager who was opening up the shop for the day. He took my keys, drove the car to the lift, corrected the problem, and had me out of the shop within 5 minutes at NO CHARGE. I don't recommend Midas for routine repairs for a SRT-4, but you might want to keep them in mind when your muffler tips act up!

If i may add a quick note. I used to be a monro mechanic, and if someone came in, and wasnt a dick, we would do the same. we also got alot of the "there is a rattle under my honda" and its almost always the heat shield...while lots of people speak poorly of corporate shop mechanics, if you are personable, 2 minute easy fixes wont often cost you anything.

Has anyone else had that problem with the Borla exhaust for the SRT-4?
