Default SRT-4 Comments

After my near disaster on the way to Fort Sam Houston (see my posting in the street racing section), I drove up to the checkpoint at the entrance to the post and presented my military (retired) I.D. card...the guard barely glanced at my I.D. before handing it back (I guess terrorists don't drive SRT-4s) and looked my car up and down before asking, "Is this one of those SRT-4 cars?" I said yes and he asked, "I hear these are fast, will it do a wheelie?"

I didn't have the heart to tell him it was front wheel drive...

God Bless the USA and all our troops wherever they may be...[sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley20.gif]

Roger that, dusty!!!!!!! I've had our gate guards ask me repeatedly to "light'em up". Usually at Gate 3, which is off by itself.

The rumble of the Stage 1 through the Mopar exhaust reveberating off the jersey barrier chicanes they have to slow down traffic gets some looks Wumba, snap, crackle wumba, wumba[sm=smiley32.gif] As you said, bless 'em all. It's their watch, now.

Hang in there, that's important! I'm a police dispatcher/patrol officer nearby, at Trinity University, maybe 1 mile away. Hey, how come I haven't seen YOUR SRT-4 on the road...I work days, 6-2, Wed-Sun. It's lonely out here!![sm=smiley4.gif]

I've gotten a few good looks at the car as well. The last one was Sunday night at Krogers at 12:30AM of all times. I parked next to a new Neon and the guy that was driving it(it was a rental car) asked about what the difference was between mine and the one he was driving. I told him about the car and he seemed to really like it, but then again who couldn't. Oh yeah, ricers.[sm=smiley36.gif]

Roach,

Check here. Forum just for owners of overseas SRT-4s.

http://srtforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=66

Should be able to find some locals to terrorize the Bahn with I know they had a get together not long ago.
I would love to see a vid of three or four -4s in form, flying under an overpass at 130-140
