04s dont come with stage 1.....they only have the upgraded injectors and such. There is still a Stage 1 upgraded PCM available for the 04s that you can buy. Thats what RIPSIGUY is talking about. He had it in his 04, and now his Stage 1 PCM is in my car.

However they 04s do have the LSD, better axles, available kicker, blue instead of yellow, and available sunroof and side airbag seats.

Boost control? Turbo XS, Greddy Spec, etc etc all make manual boost controllers, and the Greddy Profec-B Spec-II is an Electronic boost controller. Theres quite a few of them out there.

SAFC or SAFC-II try Ebay.

You definitely want to go exhaust/intake first. And I have both and Stage 1 and love it. Once I get my new turbo itll be even better but thats besides the point currently.

Youll find that and some motor mounts will do you well, unless you want to be insane with the stock turbo, in which case tune your SAFC-II well, buy some bigger injectors, keep the stock PCM, run really rich, buy a huge intercooler, a 3" exhaust, an intake, and boost around 23lbs......(and your name will be rick....but its a 12.6 @ 110.85 stock turbo no juice SRT)

I didn't want my name to be Rick, so I went with the "angry eyes" (vinyl eyelids style #2 from ruthless graphics for 20 bucks) so my car could show it's frustration with slow traffic to the world. More expensive mods came later and more are yet to come.
See the pic........very angry.

Thanks LilSparkPlug,I was considering stage 1 but figured I would just save up for stage 2.How many pounds of boost can I put out with the stock turbo without killing it?My goal is to be in Mid 12's if not Low 12's.Im hoping that these things would help that....

-Stage 2
-3" Exhaust
-MaxxFab 3" DownPipe
-Short Ram Intake
-Boost Controler
-Honed Intake Manifold
-60mm TB
-TC FMIC
-Motor Mounts

And a couple of other things I left out, where do you guys think that would leave me as far as 1/4 mile times?Any input on the Greddy E-01?!?!?Thanks again

low-mid 12's... let me add tires to your list of mods ;-) cause the thing'll just spin without them... and spinning is only cool in a K-mart parking lot trying to impress your girlfriend who doesn't care... ha-ha...

JayDubb... do you plan on just racing the car? or driving it on the street? a daily driven streetable 12 sec. is a fine line to walk... not un-do-able... just a fine line... good luck, God bless!

Ahhh,Tires!Knew I was forgetting something!I would like for it to be a daily driver,I mean this will be my transportation so how do you think it will do SRT_YA?I wont be running it hard and racing all the time,I am a very careful driver so its not ill be beating the car to death street racing everyday.Just using it to school and work weekdays and maybe a race or two on the weekend.I just want the mods to be dependable to the point where I dont have to be tuning it everyday and having problems with boost and such.I know I will run into problems here and there but nothing to crazy that will hold me back from driving it everyday.Still no opinions on the Greddy E-01?Heres a link to it if anyone would like to give me their opinion....http://www.modernperformance.com/all/greddy_e01.shtml Thanks

I'd check with people that are running much faster than I am (which I have never tracked mine yet)...

from what I've heard (mind you, this can be wrong)... after S2 the daily driver option kind of drops off... maybe not, maybe I have been misinformed... PSI Chick has a very fast ride, and GHLS (or is that GLHS? - sorry) has S3 I believe as well... a lot of them have supporting mod's and such as well... ask them how well the car rides, runs, etc... for me personally, S2 w/toys was perfect! I wanted to be a little faster, and now I am... I also have the luxury of having a daily driver that isn't my Neon... so...

Any of the stage kits by themselves will not change the daily drivability of the car... adding mods to the stage kits affects the drivability some moreso than others.

The biggest thing that affects drivability would be an after market Waste Gate Actuator -- they all seem to introduce Part Throttle Boost (I was getting 15psi @ about 1/2 throttle).

Surprisingly, the AGP turbo upgrade actually made the car MORE streetable for daily driving than what it was with the stock turbo and alot of mods.

Well thanks for the input guys I really appreciate it.I guess if I have enough supporting mods for S2 it wouldnt/shouldnt be that bad for daily driving but on the other hand another way of transportation would be a good thing to put into consideration.Im not sure about AGP,I understand your experience(MCHAT)with them but you seem very engine smart as far as all of that fuel management and stuff goes.I have seen though 4's with this kit from AGP running over 400HP,but if you cant put that power to the ground their is really no point for me to have it.I just feel safer with Mopar because I know alot of guys running there kits so I could relate to them.I just want to be in mid 12's without killing the engine on daily driving. Thanks for your time guys again it is greatly appreciated!!
