Funny,,,when I bought this car, I didn't realize how much more there would be that I wanted to buy for it. Good grief,,,,,I am wanting to take a 20,000 dollar car, and by the time I am done with it, spend as much as I would have on a yacht.
Guilty pleasure.....even though I don't understand what half the aftermarket guages in a car are for, I would love to have a bunch of them in my car because I think it looks cool as hell.
Things that drive me nuts about this car:
Wheels. Why wheels? Too many choices. I want wheels, but what color wheels??? What type of wheels??? I didn't think about my daughters outfit that she would wear home from the hospital when she was born as much as I have thought about having the right wheels. I didnt' think about my outfit for my wedding as much as I do about my wheels. I don't think about anything as much as I do about what kind of wheels I should get for my car.
Want to talk about irony???? I have never, in my LIFE, wanted the photoshop software. Buy hey,,,guess what I want now??? Yep,,,photoshop. Know why? Only because I could then use the software and try out different wheels for my car.
Wheels...freaking wheels. There are zillions of choices on wheels. Do you realize how many wheels I have looked at since I got this car??? Black wheels,,,bronze wheels, gold wheels, polished wheels, chrome wheels. Wheels, wheels, wheels.
What if I choose the wrong wheels???? The wheel choice just has to be right. You can't make a mistake with wheels. They say that the biggest purchase in your life is a house. Well,,,they are damned wrong. It's wheels. If you screw up your house purchase, big deal. Houses appreciate and you can sell them without taking a loss. But the wrong wheels and you are losing money when you sell them. No room for errors with wheels. One shot and you are done.
it's like choosing the color of your car when you bought it. Just as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, as soon as you pull your car off the lot, you will be telling youself, "damn,,,I should have bought the silver one." Again,,,too many choices. Choices only make misery. Henry Ford had it figured out. Make the model T in black. I will guarantee you that NO ONE got home with their model T and looked at their wife and said, "do you think the model T would have looked better in silver?" Nope.....didn't happen, because ole Henry was smart to not give choices. Whoever said that choices solved anything was clearly wrong.

I am sooooooo happy with the results, though. The gunmetal traklites look so awesome on my silver srt. And they fit AND they weigh under 14 lbs a piece.
