Yet another n00bish Q...
So here goes...super n00b...
What.... is the stock... boost psi?
Mines all over the place... i think its the gas around here...
I mean with country bumpkin "93" I get like low 14psi and with BP "93" + octane booster i get about middie-high 14 psi
and I just put in some shell "93" and low and behold i see my gauge peg 16... and then settle down to
just over 15 psi...
I figure its the gas...
But I am teh n00b...

RE: Yet another n00bish Q...
it's probably not the gas, it's the weather.
gas could effect the car if the gas that you're using is really bad and causing knock. if you're seeing a lof ot knock the ecu will retard timing and you'll get less power.
more likely however it's the weather effecting boost levels. in hotter weather you'll see higher psi than in cooler ones. it doesn't take as much boost to create the same power when the air is colder (desnser). anywhere from 11-15 is normal on these cars depending on time of year. in the dead of winter, you may see only 11, possibly 12. in the middle of summer 15 or 16 is not unheard of.

I have to learn about that car, I am in college, I work full time and I pay the monthly payments myself
I can't afford to break it....even with a 3/36 and a back up 5/100 warranty...
i will be asking tons of q's and posting some n00bish humor i hope,
I really appreciate all of (here comes the southern dialect) ya'lls help!
