If you've ever driven and RSX, you would know why it wins the competitions. It's a damn nice ride. the shifter feels like a BMW shifter...which is like a hot knife in a stick of butter. The SRT-4 will win all the track comparisons, because its flat out faster, but the RSX is a great all around car. I jsut dont like the RSX people that talk **** about the RSX being better at the track..it's not. It most definitely is a better overall car that the SRT, it's just slower.

You know the thing I really hate is how they will judge a class of cars on things that the car is not about. They will judge the SRT-4 on how many luxuries it has, how soft the dash materials are, if the engine is refined, how noisy the engine is. They need to get people who judge something other than luxury cars for non-luxury cars because they cannot appreciate these performance and economy only minded cars.

i see your point but if its a performance comparison test and the srt4 wins 18 of 25 events how does it come in 3rd and the rsx which one 2 events take 1st?

wow...about the letters....they musta been hit hard by the neon fanatics. That RSX still one the CHEAP SPEED CONTEST???? Why not call it the best luxury car in the Sportcompact class contest? Hopefully one of these days they get it right I know they are tryin to captivate readers but lets keep it real with our comparisons.

I totally agree, performance wise, the RSX can't compete, there are no ifs ands or buts about it. But it is a hell of a car. If they were doing an all around test to see which was teh best car for the money, the RSX might be it. I agree that this particular test was about performance, the SRT has better performance than teh RSX, and should have won teh performance contest. I don't mean to sound like an Acura fan-boy, but if you ever get the chance to drive one, you'll see what I mean.

Realistically, all of us have an SRT-4, and we know it's shortcomings (wether we like to admit them or not). It's not a very refined car, it's loud as hell, it vibrates the **** out of teh driver, it's got some cheap stuff inside and the manual windows in teh back doors is a joke.........but once you get that boost gauge wound up to 15psi, you forget all about that other crap.
