polished - it'll look better in a year and you can dress it up with silicone hoses if you want. The red is an anodized finish and looks a little pink to me - just don't think it matches.

I too prefer the polished, but you have to keep it clean and polished because it is hard to get the water spots out if you don't.

I've had my K & N Typhoon in both ways and it works perfectly either way. I keep it in as a full CAI, at least until I see reason to switch it back to being a SRI.

Good choice (of course - I am biased since I went the same way)

When you get stains or spots like rr mentioned, just hit it with a little mothers mag polish and it'll look like new.
