Throttle Position Sensor
just wondering if i was the only one who have had to get a new throttle position sensor. My 04 SRT 4 started idleing up for no reason and the check engine light came on so i took it in and got a new TPS.
You , my friend, are certainly not alone. I am right there with you, along with probably over 1000 other srt-4 owners. It seems that the TPS owns us in this case. Pretty common problem(that is why DCX is so quick to warranty them).
Im one of them too. New wires, AND a new sensor. They made the wiring too short, and the mounts too soft, so under torquing of the engine (accel) the wires eventually tear themselves apart shorting the sensor and calling for new wires. Its an easy fix though, and yes probably thousands of us have had it done.
i also have this problem, crystal checked my car at school and sure enough it read code P0123 - throttle postion sensor high boch dodge hates me so im going to have to bring it somewhere friendlier
