RE: car misfiring?
The occ won't do that. The only problem it could cause if not sealed completely is a boost leak at higher boost levels.
Listen to the girls, a set of low resistance wires like msd or magnecor will smooth out the idle more than you would believe. The mopar wires just simply suck, in comparison. I had a stumble that was horrible when I bought the car, and switching to msd's completely eliminated it.
Also your stock motor mounts are very soft(too soft). If you don't mind a little vibration and a clunk occasionally when the ac cycles, think about motor mount inserts. they will stop the motor from rocking back and forth in the soft mount, which worsens the effect of the stumble.

RE: car misfiring?
The problem is very common. I'd venture to say they all do it.
Mine has since day one, but it was never bad, however, it has gotten worse lately now that I have 10k on the oem stuff. I don't think gas has anything to do with it, but just for gee wizz, I use a combo of 89 and 93 octane
Can you get the wires pre assembled or are they the generic DIY kind? Approximately how much?
