Clutch Replacement
Hi again, quick question... at what HP and TQ level should you start to consider replacing the clutch?

RE: Clutch Replacement
Depends on what you're doing with it. I smoked the stock clutch doing dry burnouts on drag radials w/ ~300ft/lbs of torque.
I smoked the Centerforce clutch going into 3rd gear w/ ~400ft/lbs on slicks.
The Clutchmaster FX700 rocks... no slip there.

I, on the other hand, am still running the stocker at 61K. Its ready now, though, this last 15K with Stage 3 has taken its toll.

RE: Clutch Replacement
I have the Mopar clutch and no problems yet. Seems to be able to handle 2nd gear starts for a long smokey burnout.

seams like the clutches dont last any where near as long when you use slicks.

I'm running a SPEC stage 3 in my car. Holds the power great (452hp on pump gas), and is still very driveable on the street.
