Bump. How do I know if its not calibrated? When the car is turned off. Should it go to 0? When my car is off. It goes to 10. Im spiking 12 psi.

 

it should sit at 0 when it's off. if it's sitting at 10 when it's off you're actually spiking 2psi lol

I hope its not bad for the car and all I can do is change it out with a new better one.

 

It's just a gauge....the fact that it is off is nothing more than annoying...only thing is that you won't be able to tell if the boost does go off. Very cheap tp replace. Better shouldn't be tough.

 

What boost gauge has a nice color to it and has 30 vac and 30 psi?

 

well if it's 10psi off and it's showing you spiking at 12psi, that means you're actually getting 2psi so i would say that there's something funky with your boost.

any of the autometer gauges are nice and work well, just pick the series you want. i'm running a phantom II boost gauge, i like it.
