Weird Idle....
So Im at the gas station tonight with my buddy Anthony (who has an 05 OB SRT) and I leave the car running (so Anthony could continue watching Biker Boyz) to go in and get some orange juice and such. I come out about 5 minutes later, and I hear a car idling funny. Im like WTF???? Thats MY CAR....yay here we go again.
I go around the back of the car to make sure it was mine and not the 1985 Corolla type vehicular object parked next to me still running. Sure as **** it was.
Idling around 950-1250 bouncing up and down erratically like a ****. I revved it and it bogged on me. So I shut the car off turn it back on and it does it again. Shut it off again, let it sit for a minute or two, turn it back on and hes fine.
IAC??? TPS again?
Im lost...hes never done this before. Which doesnt surprise me much LOL.

could be tps, could also be a poped or loose vacuum line. check the major vacuum source line that runs behind the intake manifold. mine popped off and amoung other problems caused a funky idle. sounded like i had some serious cams in the thing. the line that runs off the tb is another place to check. also check the lines at your solinoids, i don't think any of these could cause a idle like that (as i've blown most of them and haven't had that happen) but you never know.

Sounds like another bad tps, though - wierd since it is already your second, but then again your baby is wierd.
Yeah I lost my brake booster a couple weeks back, so the little green line is fine. Ill check all of those lines tonight, maybe it was just a freak occurence, but I cant see why it would do it just once, unless there was an underlying cause.
Yes my baby is very weird
Poor little guy.

All the lines are fine, theres no vac leak anywhere. Ill wait and see if he does it again. If so Im leaning towards the TPS....yet again.

LOL! I know what you mean, but I had to laugh at the way it was worded. I am under the suspicion that something is wrong with the fuel system. I know for a fact that the floater is off, seeing as my gas light doesnt come on until the needle is BURIED in the gauge in the dash. Theres nothing wrong with ANY of the other guages, except that one. Its going in monday....again. We'll see what happens this time. Ive got 1500 miles left on warranty....then Im done. So it all needs to be done...like now.
