well if all you want is a gauge then no you dont need to buy anything else... if you want your gauge to read anything then yes you need to buy a wide band or narrow band which will need a bung in your dp or exhaust. If i were you id spend the extra amount and get a wideband instead of narrow because a narrow is harder to read. its always jumping all over the place.

do you plan on getting your car tuned? or higher mods than what you have? if not i wouldnt bother since its not really a gauge that you will watch on an everyday basis. its pretty much for tuning and trouble shooting.

As of right now im just doing minor mods untill the first of the year rolls around(tax time)than i plan on doing stage 2 w/toys.I will probably end up going with a wideband but i just wanted to see.In order to use that srt one you have to buy there harness as well, its almost $200 for the gauge and harness,i just wanted to see if that was worth the money and if you actually needed the harness.....thanks for the input

$200 for a gauge and harness for a wideband? that's either a really good deal or a cheap *** gauge. i got a great deal on my wideband and paid $350 for it! when it comes to these gauges, don't be cheap. if you're going to get one, get a good one.

yeah point me in the direction of a 200 dollar wideband. and its not needed for s2 unless your going to be messing with it tuneing wise.

oh so this is just the autolite narrowband a/f. in that case, yes you need the harness to make it function. but in reality that gauge is nothing more than a pretty light show. save your money and get a real a/f wideband that you can actually use.

Yes and No. What you have is the $55 light show correct? The narrowband? It's completely worthless. A good wideband will cost you no less then $200 (without a gauge) and about $260 or so with one. Depending on what model.

Looking for the cheap route but want a good wideband? Pick up an Innovate LC-1 wideband $199 and add a dynotune gauge for $89. Or you can skip the whole process and pick up an Innovate XD-16 set which retails for $399 but is the best of the best out there.
