Zero Gravity performance modual
I just got back from Iraq and I'm new to the srt and I wanted to know about the Zero Gravity performance Module, its 24$ and it claims to add up to 22.5 hp. I would just like to hear your thoughts and any other suggestions would be great.
MAP Clamp. Tricks the computer into thinking there is less boost being made than there really is. By changing the electrical value from the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP)sensor.
Problem is, the computer does not add fuel , since it thinks there is less boost. Unless you know how to get more fuel, it's a very dangerous game to play. It will make more power, but not for long.

BTW, thanks for being in the service. Anyway, is your car an 03 or 04? What power levels or performance goals do you have? Like 13 seconds in the quater mile, best in class in the local SCCA autocross? Have a buddy with a Mustang GT busting you cookies?
Save your money, the module is just a 25 cent resistor/capacitor with a couple of wires coming out of it...they (try) to sell them on eBay, but most people are on to the scam. Better to get Stage 1 or Stage 2....[sm=smiley4.gif]
My car is an 04 don't have a pic yet but its getting there, I clocked it at 13.8 and I'm just looking for any suggestions on upgrading hp, my goals are, intake, BOV, 19in wheels and lower about an in.
Stage 1 is the most hassle free, safest mod you can do. Followed by exhaust. Full 3 inch for 600-700, stainless more. Mopar 2.5 inch for about 320-340. Computer swap, easy to do. You do realize that those 19s will slow you down, right? If you want to trade a little performance for the looks, that's fine, just be aware that that is what you are doing.
Also, be aware that most people now agree that a real CAI for a SRT-4 is a dream. The darn engine bay gets too friggin hot and to even begin to get "cool" air, you'd have run a tube of clothes dryer vent tubing from behind the drivers fog light (after removing it and putting a piece of screen material over the opening). I'm going to see how it looks with the hood scoop insert removed, because it is restricting the crap out of the air flow to the turbo. This may make all the difference in the world for a CAI kit. If I can get another insert, then I'll just modify it to allow for more air flow.[sm=smiley2.gif]
