Default Kicker Install

My `05 SRT-4 didn't come with the Kicker. I now have the 6 Disc changer and the amp/sub- woofer for the trunk. Has any one out there installed one and what more do I need?

Well do you have all the cables that you have to run? There should be 2, one from the battery and one from the back of the radio. Plus you might want to check the head unit to see if it will have a plug-in for the amp.

IDK how the Kicker "Livin' Loud" system is set up but normally you need to connect the RCA Cable and the antenna wire from the head to the amp. And the the lead wire from the battery as turbeaux kid said before. You might end up having to replace the head unit, not all stock ones come with the ports.

All I have is the Sub-Woofer and the 6 Disc Changer and thats it no cables or wires. I thought that all SRT's would have the harness already installed, but I guessed wrong? So what do you guys think I should do?????

You could go to a place that does the install and they could tell you from a book on what you need to complete the install. I havent taken mine out so Im not sure on the cable, or what the head unit has for the stock outputs.

The wire that goes from the HD to the 6-Disc can be bought @ Dealership but it's like $70. You can also get the little adapter for the sub & Amp that you attach to the rear deck speakers one wire from each + / -. Just know you will be better off just running the heavy (Red) all the way to the battery!

OK, I ordered the cable that goes from the HD to the C-D changer. I get a good price break at my local Dodge Dealer, it only cost me 57 bucks. But I don't know if my HD has the hook-ups for it. I guess I'll find out when the HD comes out. Dude at Dodge said I can get the harness for the amp but I'll need a VIN from a SRT that has the Kicker in it. Anyone want to give me there VIN?
