Engine ???
I am having what I think to be a problem, but you guys may know better. Every time I shut the car off, it sounds like it sputters for a second, then kills the engine. Is this something anyone else has experienced or is it just mine? Any help on this would be appreciated.

You aren't far from me bigddy9, I'm at 23 Mile and Schoenherr.
Take it to Autozone, have them check any codes the computer may have stored... but I really don't think it's anything to worry about, it's not 'sputtering' any other time, is it? If not, and there aren't any codes, I'd not bother, it's just how it sounds when shutting down. I think I know the sound you mean, and it's just the car's 'race' setup... sounds rough when turning off.

Yup, Amanda's right. Mine does the same thing. I called my dealer and he confirmed it's nothing to worry about...sleep well...[sm=smiley4.gif]
I'm at 24 mile east of 94. Not too far at all. You can't miss me if you see me on the road...I'll be the big fella shoehorned into that little silver car. [:@] (<--haha, the constipated smiley, it always makes me giggle)
If other cars are doing the same thing, I'm not too concerned about it. I was just wondering if mine was the only one. I figured it was the intake setup and all the air that is still in the plumbing running through when I shut it off. I feel alot better about it knowing it is a normal thing.

MINES, TOO, DUDE... YOU GOOD.
IF YOU WANNA SEE ANY CODES, JUST TURN ON THE IGNITION KEY, ON THE "ON" POSTION (DECK DISPLAYED) FOR 15 SECS. IF YOU DONT SEE ANY ON YOUR SPEEDOMETER GAUGE, YOURE OK. ANOTHER WAY, IS TO TURN OFF AN ON THE IGNITION UNTIL A CODE DISPLAYS OR A "DONE" DISPLAYED; MEANING NO ERROR CODES.

Roach, did you read the posting at the top of the page regarding the delay in shipping Stage 2???[:@]

For anyone who comes in here looking for an update, it appears that Siemens, the maker of the fuel injectors, is not shipping them to Mopar over a price dispute. Shocker, they now want more than they initially told Mopar they would cost. Needless to say, Mopar is not wanting to pay more. They cannot just go with another supplier, these injectors are custom made, state of the art, and even the Stage 2 computer code would have to be rewritten and the whole new setup retested.
Will our intrepid (nice plug, eh ) heros (Mopar) save the day and send more power to the people?
Will the evil Empire (Siemens)recieve the tribute (cash) they want?
Will MY car go even faster?

This is what dusty was talking about. It's in the "Stage 2 Ship dates" sticky.

Not one kit has left Mopar for any vendor. The vendor I'm buying from is getting the first 20 (I'm # 18)kits made. They have instructions to call me on my cell when it get's there for shipping instructions. Obviosly, I'll post

I read somewhere that if you press the clutch in it won't do it as bad. Mine does the same thing I just press the clutch in every time i shut off my car. Don't know if it really helps, but its good for peace of mind when you shut off your car.
