Stage 1 or 2?
Doesn't the power pullies bring down the rpms of other components, It would take more power to spin a component faster? So the pullies, which I have seen on trucks and other v-8's, slow everything down, read...your alternator will not charge as good, and only be charging when up in the rpms. That's my expeirience with pullies...but it's not a huge gain in horsepower. But lighter pullies might help. Try it out, if something seems odd, put the old ones back on.
yeah, I was thinking about that, and like I said, I can't remember exactly what he said (I wasn't really worried about it at the time since I wasn't planning on a pulley anyway) but yes, an underdrive pulley would be smaller, causing the other components to turn more slowly for a given pulley rpm (I think of it like a bike sprocket- when you shift to a smaller front sprocket, it's easier to pedal, but you go slower for a given rpm). It's worth some research though- let me know if you find anything else out.
