hey
hey guys, I'm a new SRT 4 owner, I traded a mazda protege 5 for this car and it's amazing. I was wondering what are some things I can expect with this car like issues, problems that occur frequently with other cars. And this is my first manual car so I'm learning as I go along

- tell us more - what year - used...?
Welcome to the site!!!! The only problems I've had are a air sensor that got blown away (literally) and cracked headlights all of which were fixed under warranty.
And yes, the dealer knows about my mods, they even put on the Stage-1.

Don't know if it is still this way on '05's, but on my '04, there was a wire running behind the clutch pedal against the firewall. If you push the clutch down all the way, you will see that the arm for the pedal crushes it when fully depressed.
You can pull the box that it runs to out of the bracket by twisting it, move the wire in front of the pedal so it is no longer crushed, and affix it somewhere so it isn't loose. Then re-attach the box.
The wire is your brake lights, it could short them after repeated crushing.
