I was wondering what the major diffrences between a srt4 and a Neon are beside the turbo option and the motor i think you guys have a 2.4l.

 

The SRT-4 has better suspension/handling, better brakes, better seats (if you're not too heavy), better tires, better exhaust, etc, etc.
It's a Neon that has been seriously re-worked........

Yes, the motor is different. SRT4 has different hood, bumpers, spoiler, sideskirts, wheels, different suspension, different seats, guages....the list goes on. If you don't know what the differences are go check one out.

 

I have been in one before i was just wondering if the stock NA SRT-4 is THAT much better than a Neon how much hp do the NA ones push out?

 

There is no NA SRT-4... Not sure what you mean by that...

Lets put it this way...

SRT-4 = 160mph, 13.8-14.2 1/4 mile, 0-60 in 5.5-5.8, 235HP 250lb ft

Neon = 17 1/4 mile, 0-60 in 9 give or take on both, 132HP 130lb ft

 

All SRT-4's are turbos. They also have a special transmission with limited slip and all are 5 speeds. They are quite a bit different than a regular Neon.

 

maybe he is talkin about the n/a srt design SXT....

 

Running a standard neon against a srt-4 is like running a pinto against a mustang. We are talking about double the hp, here. An srt-4 will beat a charger r/t hemi , if you are looking for a good comparison in house at chrysler.
