sometime when im get into the gas pretty good my boost gauge shoots up and then looks like its just vibrating there is this normal how can i fix it thanks

 

my best advice to you is just get the boost gauge replaced. For some reason in all of the '05's there is at least one problem with the boost gauge. I replaced mine and its working lovely!!!

 

My 05 boost gauge still works 3800 miles

 

what do you mean vibrating? the needle is shaking? if so, then you probably have a boost leak.

the boost gauge can tell you things other than just psi levels, don't be so quick to assume that it's a bad gauge.....

 

yes its shaking and i believe it is a boost leak cause i cant get more than 12lbs and when its there it shakes and drops i have 2300 miles on it

 

where are you located? 12psi in cold weather isn't that bad. and also remember that just because your gauge reads 12psi doesn't mean that's what's getting into your motor.

 

im in missouri and its been 20-30 degrees im having it checked out at the dealership tomorrow
