What do I have to unscrew, pop off, ect... to install a radio into my new SRT-4?

Any help on a deck install would be great[sm=smiley20.gif]. I had no problem installing my deck in a 03 Ram, when you think about it, it's scary how how simple it was, cuz anyone that knows can be in and out before you even know it.

It should be basically the same. The trim surrounding the A/C & heater controls and the stereo should just pull off, it should be held in by push clips. Then there will be a few screws/bolts holding the stereo in and the wiring harness and antenna. That should be about it.

Just try and do everything you're going to do all at the same time, because the more times you pull it off, the more loose it gets and the more chance of having rattles.

hope I caught you in time, the two center A/C vents pop out, GENTLY use a taped (for scratch prevention) flathead to pry them from the side (with a flashlight you can see where the tabs are that they pop onto are) to pop them out. Up above each one, theres a screw, once those are removed, the whole silver bezel does indeed pop off.

I hereby claim the title of "Most uses of the word pop in a single post"

Links for a breakdown of wire colors for both alarm and radio harnesses. Good luck, and have fun. Just remember, neat connections are happy connections
